Lamborghini is entering the path of production of electric cars. Based on the model of McLaren and Porsche, the Italians presented their first production model using a new hybrid powerplant - the Lamborghini Sian.

The public premiere of the new model is planned at the Frankfurt motor show. We can expect that the car will be in great demand-the petrol V12 and 48-volt electric motor contributed to the creation of the most powerful road model in the history of the Italian brand.

Behind the driver's and passenger's seats, the same 6.5-liter naturally aspirated engine runs as in the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ. Thanks to several modifications (for example, titanium intake valves), the unit accelerated to 785 HP (at 8500 rpm). This is 15 km more than in the above-mentioned SVJ. The Sian model, however, is supported by a small electric motor that generates an additional 34 HP. here it is worth adding that the entire electric transmission (along with the power reserve)weighs exactly 34 kg. Thus, in its case, we are dealing with a weight-to-power ratio of 1 kg/1 HP.
Lamborghini decided not to use the lithium-ion batteries that are popular today. Instead, the car is equipped with a device called a "supercapacitor". We are talking about a "battery" that has the characteristics of a typical capacitor (fast capture and return of energy), but with a significant capacity.http://fiatforum.lv/http://fiatforum.lv/
